"There is an untouched beauty and serenity of meandering beaches, which intertwine seamlessly with the sea."

Landscape Artist
I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone, Dundee in the late nineties. After completing a Post Grad, I began my teaching career. I have been building up a portfolio of drawings/sketches based on the Kintyre peninsula for many years
Inspiration
With strong family connections to the village of Carradale, Kintyre, I have been hugely inspired by this rugged coastline. I enjoy using oil paints to describe the natural forms, patterns and contours that lie within this beautiful peninsula.

When I look at the sea and the land that it surrounds, my eye is drawn to the patterns created by the reflections and tidal formations on the sand.

Painting in the West Coast reconnects me to my childhood and with it brings a peacefulness.

With stunning backdrops of Arran, Daavar, Ailsa Craig, Islay, Jura, Gigha and even Ireland on a clear day, Kintyre encompasses an array of stunning views around every corner.
