Golf
As well as being an Artist, my other passion is Golf. My dad taught me and my siblings how to play when we were children and its a skill that I have rediscovered again in the last few years.
We were taught to play on Carradale GC and we had the privilege of learning on this magnificent course. The views are incredible and the Kilbrannan Sound beautifully surrounds the eastern side of Kintyre.
Carradale Golf Course has a great vantage point. It allows golfers and dog walkers the opportunity to take in Arran, Ailsa Craig, the Big Bay, Port Righ, the hillside leading to Torrisdale and then onto Campbeltown.
Machrihanish GC boasts magnificent views across the Bay towards West Port whilst also capturing the backdrop of Isla, Jura and Gigha.
These beautiful golf courses are a great source of inspiration and I'm looking forward to developing my sketches onto the canvas in the near future.
